Welcome to Silent Waves Behavior
a place for children with special needs

This place will provide you with the support you and your family require to deal with the behavioral issues that your children may be experiencing. We are committed to offering a high-quality therapy service in order to provide the best possible care for your kid.

Behavioral Plan

An initial assessment is the first step in any treatment. Each client’s behaviors that require intervention must be understood. This method is done every 6 months for the duration of their treatment to keep the focus and determine whether new behaviors emerge. The family describes the behaviors they observe at home, school, and in public, as well as any other concerns they have. We next apply what we’ve learned to gain a better understanding of what’s going on.

Implementation

Individuals who receive our services receive ABA therapy from a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and supervision from a BCBA/BCaBA who monitors the children’s progress and helps them gain new skills.
They monitor and intervene in daily behaviors while keeping in mind the long-term goals set by the parents and lead analyst during the initial assessment.

Results

We submit an updated treatment plan to the insurance every six months, based on what the Lead Analyst, Behavior Technician, and Parents notice and propose. This plan shows progress and proves the necessity for continuous medical intervention if necessary.
Because this is done every six months, everyone can observe how the children are reacting to the treatment based on the data collected.

We deal directly with your insurance company so you don’t have to.

By performing all of the necessary coverage checks and receiving the necessary authorizations to begin therapy, we will relieve you of the burden of concern.

You already have a lot on your mind.

Meet our team

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA, or FL-CBA. The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services. The RBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. It is the responsibility of the RBT supervisor to determine which tasks an RBT may perform as a function of his or her training, experience, and competence. The BACB certificant supervising the RBT is responsible for the work performed by the RBT on the cases they are overseeing.

The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is an undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals who are certified at the BCaBA level may not practice independently, but must be supervised by someone certified at the BCBA/BCBA-D level. In addition, BCaBAs can supervise the work of Registered Behavior Technicians, and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a graduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals who are certified at the BCBA level are independent practitioners who provide behavior-analytic services. In addition, BCBAs supervise the work of Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions.
